TV FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q. My On Screen Guide is missing or shows no information.
A. You will need to reboot set top box (unplug the power cord from the set-top box and plug back in).

Q. Why don’t I have volume on any of my channels?
A. You will need to reboot set top box (unplug the power cord from the set-top box and plug back in).

Q. I cannot view any of my premium movie channels.
A. You will need to reboot set top box (unplug the power cord from the set-top box and plug back in).

Q. There are no lights on set top box.
A. You will need to reboot set top box (unplug the power cord from the set-top box and plug back in).

* For all of the questions above, you may also have to reboot the Zonet switch (found where utilities enter your home). Unplug the switch for 30 seconds.

Q. My audio and video do not match.
A. You will need to channel up or down and then back to channel you were watching.

Q. My TV is snowy.
A. Push the TV button on the top of the remote and enter 03 on the number pad (or corresponding input channel), once picture is back push the satellite button at the top of the remote to change channels.

Q. My remote is slow or does not change channels.
A. You will need to replace the batteries in your remote.

Q. Can I record one channel and watch another?
A. No, unfortunately at this time you are not able to view other programs while you are recording.

Q. What channel must I be on to record?
A. When recording from a VCR make sure you enter 03 for the channel you want to record in the VCR settings. Turn the TV (using your DCTV remote) to the channel you want to record.

Q. I am locked in the music (or other group of channels).
A. Push the DTV button at the bottom of the remote to return to regular programming.
