The "History" feature is a great tool which allows Internet users to easily find recently visited websites. The feature can be found on both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. To change the number of days that sites are stored in your browser's "History," follow the instructions below.
Internet Explorer:
- Click on Tools
- Click on Internet Options
- Under the General tab click on Settings in the Browsing History section.
- Then select the number of days on the setting for Days to keep pages in History.
- Click OK and OK again.
To locate the listing of recently visited websites on your Internet Explorer browser, click on the button that has a picture of a Star on it, this will show you your Favorites and also an option for History.
Mozilla Firefox:
- Click on Tools
- Click on Options
- Click on the Privacy tab, then you have three options for remembering history, select the option you want.
- Click OK.
To locate the history, just click on the History option at the top of Firefox.
