Setting up Email Accounts

The following are steps for setting up Outlook Express on a PC, to access your email.

• Double-click on the Outlook Express icon on your desktop or by going into Start, All Programs, and then Outlook Express.
• Click on Tools, Accounts, and select the Mail tab.
• Click on the Add button, and then click on Mail.

• The Internet Connection Wizard will appear and prompt you for the Display Name. This is the name that you want to appear on the email messages that you send out. Click on Next.

• Type in your full email address and click on Next.

• The first line should read My incoming mail server is a POP3 server. Type in the incoming mail field, mail.daktel.com and in the outgoing mail field, type in smtp.daktel.com. Click Next.
• In the Account field, type in your full email address and then your password. Check the box to remember password. Click on Next and then Finish. Click Close and you are ready to send and receive email.
